Small grants of up to £3,000* are available to small businesses operating in the Visitor Economy in The Black Country. These grants are available to cover:
specialist advice which you might need to call upon to address your immediate needs in response to the impact of COVID 19 (e.g. HR, accountants, legal, financial, H&S, IT / digital or sector specialists etc.); and / or
the purchase of minor equipment to adapt or adopt new technology in order to continue to deliver business activity or diversify in response to COVID 19.
To qualify for the grant, you must have:
not previously received support under the Black Country AIM for GOLD programme;
fewer than 250 employees;
an annual Turnover of less than €50m;
a Balance Sheet of less than €43m;
at least 1 year of trading history; and
a business trading address in the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton). You can check that your postcode is valid here: https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council
We will prioritise applications from companies where the request will make a meaningful impact.* typical values will vary and will be around £1,800
